ISLAMABAD, Oct. 22 (Xinhua) -- Two policemen were killed when unidentified militants opened fire at them in Pakistan's southwestern Balochistan province on Wednesday, police said.
The incident occurred in Noshki district, where unidentified gunmen opened fire at police personnel and fled the scene, according to a statement from the district police.
The policemen were killed on the spot due to multiple gunshot wounds.
Security forces cordoned off the area, and a search operation was launched to trace the culprits. ■
