TASHKENT, Oct. 22 (Xinhua) -- Uzbekistan's foreign trade rose by 22.9 percent in January-September 2025, the National Statistics Committee said in a statement on Tuesday.
During the nine months, Uzbekistan's foreign trade has amounted to 59.8 billion U.S. dollars -- an increase of 11.14 billion dollars, or 22.9 percent compared with the same period in 2024, according to the statement.
Exports reached 26.68 billion dollars, while imports totaled 33.11 billion dollars, it said.
In September, Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev announced that Uzbekistan aims to join the ranks of upper-middle-income countries by 2030. ■
