Turpan: one of best choices for experiment ground to conduct high temperature tests on vehicles

Researchers set up experiment samples made of plastic to be tested at the Xinjiang Turpan Natural Environment Experimental Research Center in Turpan, northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, July 17, 2019. Known as "the land of fire" with its extremely hot and dry climate, Turpan in northwest China has become one of the best choices for the world's automobile companies, material manufacturers and research institutes seeking an experiment ground to conduct high temperature tests on vehicles. At present, over 30,000 items are under direct sunlight exposure tests while some 200 pieces of samples are put to soil erosion tests at the Xinjiang Turpan Natural Environment Experimental Research Center.
