Aerial view of terraced fields in Shexiang ancient town, China's Guizhou

Aerial photo taken on Dec. 16, 2019 shows terraced fields in Shexiang ancient town in Dafang County of Bijie, southwest China's Guizhou Province. Shexiang ancient town is a relocation area for residents living in impoverished regions with no sustainable conditions. Local government preserves the natural elements during planning and construction. In the center of the town, a total of 12 hectares of terraced fields, covered with ornamental plants, are built up to create a good environment for the people. (Xinhua/Yang Wenbin)
